Between painting, sculpture and inspiration
Kunsthaus ARTES had the special opportunity to visit the artist Dagmar Vogt in her studio and gain an exclusive insight into her work. During our visit, she told us about her passion for art, her sources of inspiration and everyday life in the studio.
Dagmar Vogt is an artist with her very own signature style. Her works arise from a deep connection to nature, to her travels and are always in relation to her as a person. What is particularly exciting is how she oscillates between painting and sculpture and combines both forms of expression. While painting offers her a meditative calm, working on sculptures demands both her physical and creative strength.
But how does she manage to maintain this balance and constantly find new themes and approaches? In the video made exclusively for ARTES during our studio visit, Dagmar Vogt explains how she develops her ideas and implements them in her work.
