Tracey Emin

Tracey Emin (born in 1963) is one of the best-known British artists and belongs to the generation that caused an international sensation as "Young British Artists" in the 1990s. Her chaotic bed, which she exhibited at the Tate Gallery with the title "My Bed" as a nominee for the Turner Prize, is probably one of the most discussed works by the artist.

Emin's art is always autobiographical and usually deals with the themes of love, sex, death, freedom and the artist's daily life. Her sequence of three lithographs, which includes the sheet "Thinking of you", also testifies to the ongoing exploration of introspection - both emotional and physical.
