Sculptures for your living space

When, from the 15th century onwards, the up-and-coming merchant families of the Italian Renaissance cities furnished their palazzi, sculptures and busts could not be missing. Emulating the ideal of antiquity, sculptures were considered to be the highest form of art and representation.

From purely sacred images in churches, sculpture was transformed into a bourgeois art object that has lost none of its fascination to this day.

A beautifully shaped sculpture - whether classically figurative or abstractly modern - lends every room its own special aura. In the change of light and twilight, in the interplay with the surroundings and furnishings, a beautifully placed sculpture always shows new facets of its surface and form.
