Information about delivery times can be found on the respective product detail pages.

Since we only offer original works of art, delivery times cannot always be exactly predicted. For this reason, we ask for your understanding in case of longer delivery times.

We deliver worldwide, and for new customers outside of Germany, we ask for payment in advance.

We carefully select our shipping partners.

Shipping Costs

For shipping, freight, special packaging, and transport insurance, we charge €25 within Germany.
The shipping costs for deliveries to Austria are €45, and the shipping costs for deliveries to Switzerland are €60. For deliveries to other EU countries (excluding islands) we charge €55. For deliveries to non-EU countries as well as to islands of the EU, the shipping costs are €115.

Duty or Import Fees for Deliveries Outside Germany

Our company has no control over the fees charged by the recipient countries and cannot predict what they might be. The customs regulations of the recipient countries are not standardised. If you require more detailed information, please contact your local customs office. Please note that, as an importer, you must comply with the applicable local regulations.

Import Requirements for Switzerland and Liechtenstein

Please note that with shipments to Switzerland and Liechtenstein import duties, such as customs duties and VAT, may be payable. If you have any queries on the amount of these duties or the import process, please contact the Swiss Federal authorities.

Payment Methods We Accept

Invoice and direct debit
Pay for your art purchase comfortably and securely by invoice.
You will receive the invoice and the certificate of authenticity with the delivery of the artwork. Payment will then be made within 14 days of receipt. You can choose the convenient method of direct debit. The goods remain the property of ARTES Kunsthandelsgesellschaft mbH, Hanover, until payment has been made in full. For deliveries abroad, the artwork will be shipped directly after receipt of payment.

Pay for your art purchase comfortably and securely with Visa, MasterCard or American Express.

Partial financing of your art purchase
ARTES offers partial financing of artworks from an order value of €2,500 combined with a 30% deposit.
All prices are EURO final prices including the currently valid value-added tax (7% or 19%). We reserve the right to adjust the final EURO prices accordingly in the event of legal changes to the value-added tax.

Return and redemption are at the expense and risk of ARTES.
Works of art with individual frames and passe-partouts, personal dedications etc. are excluded from return.
