David Yarrow

David Yarrow, born in the Scottish port city of Glasgow, began taking photographs at an early age. At the age of 20, he was already working as a photographer for the London Times. The German radio station Deutschlandfunk recently described Yarrow as a "grand master of animal photography".

Yarrow is known for his impressive close-ups of wild animals. His pictures literally sparkle with passion, drama, and empathy.

The photographer stands out for his fearlessness in the wild - no matter whether he has to set up camp in the Alaskan wilderness for his shots or is surrounded by Siberian tigers when locked in a cage.
