About Yvette Kießling
Yvette Kießling (*1978 in Ilmenau) studierte an der Hochschule für Grafik und Buchkunst Leipzig in der Klasse für Malerei bei Professor Arno Rink.
Vor allem exotische Landschaften haben es der Malerin angetan. Zahlreiche Stipendien und Artist in Residence Aufenthalte führten Kießling um die Welt, u.a. nach Marokko, Vietnam und Sansibar. Diese inhärente Weltläufigkeit spiegelt sich in ihrer Malerei unübersehbar wieder.
Ihre Arbeiten befinden sich u.a. in den Sammlungen des Museums der bildenden Künste Leipzig, Deutsche Bank Collection sowie der Kunsthalle Hamburg.
Die Künstlerin lebt und arbeitet in Leipzig.
