Figurative, abstract, gestural, calm, wild or orderly - the group exhibition shows a wide range of current positions and reflects the changes in the 21st century: Genres and material are no longer on opposing sides, rather they merge into a creative dialogue.
What characterizes their artistic processes and living environments are the heterogeneous influences. The variety of materials and tools used leads to new structures, new textures and new colors.
Known for their sculptural works made of solid steel or traditional porcelain, Thomas Röthel and Hannes Uhlenhaut present extraordinary wall works, while the paintings of Ruri Matsumoto and Nari Jo take us into colorful worlds of hybrid styles, landscapes of abstraction and their inhabitants.
