The Car in Art

World-renowned artists such as Andy Warhol, Mel Ramos, Robert Longo, and Gerhard Richter have used their perspectives on the fascination of the car in a variety of forms in their works.

Whether it's a small car or a Formula 1 racing car - all possible stages in the life of a car are shown: sometimes polished and shiny or disassembled into individual parts, sometimes aesthetically staged in the landscape or the cityscape, sometimes driving at high speed, but also dented and scrapped.
