New Banksy appears in London

A painting by the artist Banksy is currently causing a stir in the middle of the north London borough of Islington. On a white wall behind a bare tree, Banksy uses green paint to imitate foliage, with a woman holding a sprayer below. Like everything by Banksy, the work has caused a sensation and has already been protected by fences and cameras.

ARTES goes London

Coincidentally, our colleague Hendrik Bartels was also in London at the same time. In the art metropolis, he met with gallery owners, dealers and artists as well as looking for inspiring works and artists for our range at the local "London Original Print Fair".

He shared some impressions of the fascinating city with us. And yes, there's a real Banksy in there too...

A visit to the National Gallery is a must for anyone interested in art.

What better way to end an evening in London than with fish and chips in one of the traditional pubs.

And finally, I discovered a Banksy after all. Here is a variation of the well-known "The Flower Thrower" from 2003, seen at the "London Original Print Fair"

Banksy is probably the best-known representative of street art, but many other protagonists ensure that street art is one of the most exciting art movements of the present day.
